Plazmaman’s 700hp intercooler kit is designed to suit the Ford Falcon XR6 FG models. This kit comes complete with an entry level lightweight tube and fin intercooler (400x380x63), cold side piping kit and hot side piping. This kit is designed for those who are looking for a good flowing intercooler to compliment an upgrade bolt on turbocharger.
A complete hot & cold side piping kit is also included in this kit, which eliminates the factory plastic hose that goes from the intercooler to the throttle body elbow. Hard piping allows for greater air flow, and its aluminium construction won’t collapse or flex under boost like a factory rubber constructed hose would.
This kit does not require any cutting to install.
What power goal does this suit in my FG ?
We recommend this core on power figures up to 320rkw on 98 and up to 340rwk on E85. These smaller coolers do heat up faster than a bar and plate style. These are a perfect replacement for someone trying to keep the stock F6 intercooler look.
